Topic: College

Is it smart to wait a year after high school to apply for colleges? Deadlines for this year a coming up and wondering if I should start applying now or next year. What would be the cons or the pros of waiting?

Re: College

Cons: Angst and existential dread caused by lack of stimuli and fear of lack in career progress implanted by oblivious baby boomer generation parents, accompanied by the browsing of depression memes on reddit.
Pros: Don't have to get up at 6AM for a year.

Re: College

It's benificial to take a year off only if you experiment and dabble into various professions so you have a good idea what you want to study for the future.  College is a huge investment so I recommend you know what you want before you start.  Also, be sure the degree you invest in will pan out.
