Topic: Monster Hunter Generations

So, with the game being just under a month away from release and the demo being available now, I figured it was time to make a thread.

UK Demo available here.

Re: Monster Hunter Generations

Been trying my hardest to avoid any and all spoilers with this entry. Had to stop visiting the subreddit because content from X started taking over pretty badly.

That said I AM FUCKING HYPE FOR THIS GAME.

Re: Monster Hunter Generations

So, Adept bowguns are busted. As far as I can tell it covers just about all their weaknesses (aside from requiring ammunition).

Re: Monster Hunter Generations

Same for Aerial Duals. With Wolf's Maw, you can rip most things apart with ease. It's harder to stabilize though should you lose momentum.

Re: Monster Hunter Generations

Gave up Aerial Duals and picked up Gunlance again, since that was my endgame main in 4U.
Holy shit Aerial Gunlance is fun.

Re: Monster Hunter Generations

Prowler main, here... but also subbing guild Switch Axe and Hammer.

Re: Monster Hunter Generations

Adept GS for now, just started high rank, going at a more leisurely pace than I did in 4U. Really want to use other weapons but I'm pretty short on zenny to make other sets. Really want to try guild switch axe and adept HBG eventually.

Re: Monster Hunter Generations

I just tried Adept Gunlance for the first time and it brought back satisfying memories of pulling off just guards in PSO2. This is...goooooood.

Re: Monster Hunter Generations

I started Longswording again. God this weapon is so garbage but slightly less so with Striker. It has some really cool hunter arts though.
